Professor Yu Xiong is the Associate Dean International of Surrey University. This is a university-wide role that enables him to work with the university‘s three faculties, and more than 20 schools/departments on international collaborations. Professor Xiong was recently appointed as the director of the newly established Centre for Innovation and Commercialization. He is also Chair of Business Analytics at the Surrey Business School and is an academic member of the Department of Business Transformation. During his academic career, he has brought in more than £26 million income to the universities and businesses that he has been associated with (research income, donations, investments, etc.).

Scott Trowbridge - Stability AI- (Vice President of Business Development & Partnerships (prev Board member)). Started at Stability as an advisor and investor in the company's first round. Now Leading Stability's global commercial team and revenue operations. Trowbridge has a background in strategic growth and management at Circle leading the EMEA regional team and WeWork building a global startup incubator. Trowbridge has over a decade of tech startup experience, namely founding Digitalondon a tech innovation company and startup ReYou Ltd a retail analytics platform. Trowbridge is a member of the Investment Committee of Bankers without Borders as well as being part of the steering committee for Blockchain Working Group for the last 5 years among be a avid angel investor.

$10M first fund

Target of incubating 15-20 startups in batch one.

Each startup receives a $250k investment in 2 parts:

$125K for 6% equity (Common Stock)
$125k convertible note (standard 20% discount rate and a cap between $3M and $5M)

SynapSpark will have first right of refusal (ROFR) for follow on rounds.
